A MAN was dragged out of his van and hit over the head twice after being forced to pull over.

Charity bags, containing clothes, were then stolen from his vehicle.

The victim was driving a white Ford transit van when he was forced to stop by a black or Asian man wearing a dark brown knitted hat, black jacket and dark trousers.

The attacker was in a white car and pulled the van driver out of his vehicle and struck him over the head twice.

He then stole the transit van which contained charity bags with clothes, a silver Nokia 6233 mobile phone, various cards and a Garmin Satellite Navigation system.

The incident took place between 2.15pm and 2.30pm on October 27 on Coppice Row in Theydon Bois, Epping.

The attacker is described as medium build and appeared to be very gaunt.
